A season of generosity: End the year with a heart full of giving

As the year draws to a close and the holiday season kicks into full swing, it's the perfect time to reflect on the blessings we've received-- and share those blessings with others. This Christmas, as we celebrate the greatest gift of all, let’s remember the impact we can make by supporting local Catholic ministries that are transforming lives and building stronger communities.

From giving families in need a hand up to supporting life-changing ministries, your end-of-year donations go a long way. Not only will you make a difference for those who need it most, but you'll also have the added bonus of potential tax savings. It’s a win-win! Your generosity helps bring the love of Christ to our neighbors, whether it's through providing food, shelter, education or spiritual support.

Here’s how you can make your gift count this season:

  • The Archbishop’s Catholic Appeal supports more than 40 ministries that serve our neighbors in Northern Colorado.

  • Catholic Charities of Denver serves thousands across the Archdiocese of Denver, providing much-needed care for our neighbors in need.

  • Catholic Foundation of Northern Colorado helps individuals and families glorify God through their financial support of the missions and ministries they care about most.

  • Seeds of Hope provides scholarships to students and families interested in Catholic education in one of our Archdiocese of Denver K-8 Catholic schools.

  • Annunciation Heights strives to create a place where youth, families, adults and groups can encounter God, each other, Creation and themselves.

  • Centro San Juan Diego promotes the common good of the Hispanic community through education, family support, integration and leadership formation.

  • Saint John Vianney Seminary is dedicated to forming priests for the new millennium and offering programs of formation for permanent deacons and the lay faithful.

  • Redemptoris Mater Seminary is an international diocesan missionary seminary that forms men to become priests committed to the Neocatechumenal Way.

  • Saint John Vianney Lay Division puts people in contact and communion with the Person of Jesus Christ, in essence, making and maturing disciples.

  • Retired Priests supports retired priests through living accommodations, medical expense assistance, and transportation and car repairs, ensuring they enjoy a peaceful and dignified retirement.

  • Christ in the City seeks to build a culture of encounter, building relationships and ministering to the homeless on the streets of Denver.

  • FIRE Foundation of Denver champions the inclusion of students with disabilities in Catholic schools by providing educational resources, fundraising and promoting a culture of belonging.

  • Julia Greeley Home welcomes women who are homeless and alone into its transitional, family-style home, where they can discover the tools and spiritual support to realize their God-given dignity and achieve self-sufficiency.

  • Mother Cabrini Shrine provides a unique and peaceful environment for visitors to experience God’s loving presence through quiet meditation and prayer.

  • St. Vincent de Paul Society of Denver is a network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.

This season of giving is the perfect opportunity to make a real difference. Your donation, big or small, will help these ministries continue their vital work. Let’s end the year by giving back and filling the world with Christ’s love!
