This Respect Life Month, mothers, children and families across the archdiocese need your help! Through Marisol Services and other ministries, Catholic Charities of Denver distributed over 2.2 million diapers in 2023, but there’s still more to be done! Consider joining the effort by hosting a diaper drive this Respect Life Month! Diapers are essential for infants and toddlers, but many Colorado families struggle to afford them. In fact, over 67,000 children in Colorado face this challenge annually. Did you know diapers can't be purchased with food stamps or WIC benefits? This leaves parents in a difficult position, with many resorting to unsafe practices like reusing diapers. The lack of diapers can have a profound and complex impact on families, including health risks like rashes and urinary tract infections for children and stress and anxiety for parents. Join the Fall Diaper Campaign starting in late September and be part of this life-changing effort. By hosting a diaper drive at your school, business or community, you’ll provide critical resources to families who need them most. Your support matters. Let’s work together to ensure children’s needs are met. For more information on how you can get involved, click here.
