Jesus came so that we might have life and have it more abundantly (Jn 10:10). Unfortunately, though, obstacles to this abundant life are all too often present in our world: suffering, wounds, pain, and unforgiveness. The good news is that God wants to heal, renew and transform us to make that abundant life possible. To that end, the John Paul II Healing Center established the Healing the Whole Person retreat to promote and inspire transformation in the heart of the Church by healing and equipping God’s people for the New Evangelization. That very retreat is coming to Denver from December 5-7. Offered in English and Spanish at Light of the World Catholic Parish in Littleton, the retreat will allow attendees to seek healing from past experiences and be renewed in faith and abundant life. With renowned speakers Dr. Bob Schuchts, Bart Schuchts and Sr. Miriam James leading the weekend, this retreat will be a transformative experience designed to guide retreatants through a journey of healing and restoration. Interested individuals can attend the retreat in person in English or Spanish at Light of the World Catholic Parish in Littleton, online by live stream in English, or in person (in English) at Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Windsor, which has been established as a satellite location. For more information and to register for any of the attendance options for the Healing the Whole Person retreat, visit the John Paul II Healing Center registration portal. Registration for the in-person retreat opens Tuesday, September 3 at 8:00 a.m.
