Here’s a list of all the new priest assignments for the Archdiocese of Denver, including the assignments of our six newly ordained priests. These appointments were effective July 1, 2024, unless noted otherwise, and are in addition to the assignments announced earlier this year. Father Joseph Quoc Bui was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed Parochial Vicar at All Saints Parish in Denver, effective July 1, 2024, ad nutum archiepiscopi. Father David Hall was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed Parochial Vicar at St. John the Baptist Parish in Longmont, effective July 1, 2024, ad nutum archiepiscopi. Father Owen Limarta was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed Parochial Vicar at Notre Dame Parish in Denver, effective July 1, 2024, ad nutum archiepiscopi. Father Jacob Machado was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed Parochial Vicar at St. Stephen Parish in Glenwood Springs, effective July 1, 2024, ad nutum archiepiscopi. Father Ryan Mack was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed Parochial Vicar at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Arvada, and appointed Chaplain of the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, effective July 1, 2024, ad nutum archiepiscopi. Father Zachary Michalczyk was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Denver and at St. Louis Parish in Englewood, effective July 1, 2024, ad nutum archiepiscopi. Father Mauricio Bermudez was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and assigned residence at St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Littleton, effective immediately, until August 31, 2024. Father Roberto Alvarado-Lopez, C.R., was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and assigned residence in the St. Andrew Avellino Seminary in Denver, effective June 17, 2024, the date of his ordination to the priesthood, until his time in ministry here has ended. Father Gabriel Bakkar, C.F.R., was granted a renewal of his Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed for Mission and Ministry with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), effective June 1, 2024, until May 31, 2027. Father Juan Miguel Tabares-Zamora, C.R., was appointed Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Denver, effective July 1, 2024, until his time in ministry here has ended. Father Barnabas Eichor, O.F.M. Cap., was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver, was assigned residence in the San Antonio Friary in Denver and appointed Chaplain for Catholic Charities, effective immediately, until his time in ministry here is complete. Father Gonzalo “Stephen” Sanguinetti, M.C., was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and assigned residence at the Chaplain’s House at Mullen Home in Denver, effective July 1, 2024, until his time in ministry here has ended.
