WATCH: Encounter the Eucharistic Lord, testimonies of faith

Updated: 5 days ago

Jesus longs to draw near to us, especially in the Most Holy Eucharist. And when we allow him to draw near, everything changes.

We sat down with two local Catholics to learn more about what their Eucharistic faith means for them. Check out what they had to say!

Kathleen Glinsky

Kathleen Glinsky, a parishioner of St. Mary Parish in Littleton, said yes to his invitation to deeper communion with him, and her life changed for the better.

Kristen Conrad

Kristen Conrad, a parishioner of St. Frances Cabrini in Littleton, was invited to encounter the Lord in the Eucharist in college. “My eyes could not come away from the altar, and I heard God say to me: ‘Keep your eyes on me,'” she shared.

This June, as the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage passes through the Archdiocese of Denver, local faithful are invited to that deep, lasting relationship with Jesus, too. The Lord of lords humbles himself to become one of us, to come near us – and even becomes food for us.

Watch Kathy and Kristen’s inspiring testimonies of the Eucharist’s place in her life, and check out the upcoming archdiocesan events as part of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage.
