WATCH: Vote NO on Amendment 79: Lauren’s mom chose life

Updated: 1 hour ago

Election Day is TODAY and there’s still time to vote for LIFE!

YOUR NO VOTE on Amendment 79, the so-called “Right to Abortion,” is a stand for the dignity and sanctity of every human life. Polling this weekend shows that the margins are remarkably narrow. Your vote matters more than ever!

Still unsure? Watch this powerful testimony from Lauren Eden. Lauren is alive today because her mother made the courageous decision to stop an abortion mid-procedure, choosing life for her child. Lauren learned she was nearly aborted when her mother, with teary eyes, shared her story. Through her father’s prayers and despite her mother’s initial plan, Lauren was born 13 weeks premature on July 26, 1982.

As Catholics, we are called to defend the sanctity of life above all else, and Amendment 79 threatens this most sacred value. YOUR vote ensures a future for lives like Lauren’s.

Amendment 79:

  • Bans parental notice laws—a minor could be pressured into an abortion without her parents’ knowledge;

  • Allows abortion through the ninth month of pregnancy, even on healthy mothers with healthy babies, by removing all commonsense safeguards against abortion;

  • Forces taxpayers to pay for abortion for in-state and out of state women—costing the state millions annually.

To help form your conscience this election season, we invite you to review prayerfully Archbishop’s letter to the faithful and the Colorado Catholic Conference’s voter guide.
