UPDATE:  Catholic Charities needs immediate help with donations for families

Updated: 2 days ago

Collect items and drop them off at Catholic Charities! Families are arriving without coats, shoes and hygiene items and are in dire need.

When we first shared this information, it was amazing to see the community respond. Mark Hahn, Volunteer and Parish Relations Director at Catholic Charities of Denver, said, “The last time we appealed for help like this, our supplies were running out, and the way people rallied together to support us was incredible. We are so grateful!”

With the cold snap coming this weekend and the need for support persisting, Catholic Charities is again asking for your immediate help! Denver continues to experience a substantial increase in families coming to the city, and Catholic Charities needs more donations in order to support them!

Catholic Charities is asking for the following items listed below:

New or gently used clothing, all sizes, including: coats, jackets, sweatshirts, sweatpants, jeans, pants, shirts, socks, shoes, boots.  New underwear for men, women, and children.

Hygiene needs, including: soap, shampoo, lotion, lip balm, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, deodorant, feminine supplies.

All donations can be accepted at the Samaritan House warehouse (single-story building just north of the 3-story main building) located at 2301 Lawrence St., Denver, 80205.

Donations accepted between 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Call 303-294-0241 with questions!  Thank you for your support!
